Faculty of Chemistry: The faculty was established in 1997 following 50-years background as the Department of Chemistry. At present the faculty has 22 members of academic staff including 5 professors, 4 associate professors, 12 assistant professors and one instructor, and facilities in both Tehran and Karaj campuses. The departments are equipped with such research facilities as FES, AAS, ICP, FT-IR, UV-VIS and NMR spectrometers as well as GC, GC-MASS and HPTLC instruments.
